EduDiverse - providing young people with high quality alternative educational experiences, strengthening their chances of success in education and life.
We understand that neurodiverse students sometimes require an alternative pathway.
EduDiverse offers part time education placements on the Isle of Wight, combining adventurous activities and AQA Unit Awards.
About us

After many years of working with children and young people inside and outside of the education system, we recognise that neurodiverse students often require an environment in which the pathway to success is more flexible than the formalised school system can accommodate.
EduDiverse provides children and young people with high quality alternative educational experiences based on the Isle of Wight, so as to strengthen their chances of success in education and life.
Founder of EduDiverse, James Ranson, has over 20 years of experience working with children and young people. He is a qualified teacher and a Special Educational Needs professional. EduDiverse is the culmination of James’s passion for the outdoor environment and inclusive education. Find out more about him and EduDiverse below.

Therapeutic spaces
Set within 11 acres of private woodland on the Isle of Wight, our site offers a rich, sensory learning experience. The environment includes a spacious safari tent, thoughtfully designed outdoor learning zones, and a state-of-the-art, glass-fronted classroom that fosters both reflection and collaboration.
Our setting is not confined to a single space. As a mobile provision, we regularly explore the Island’s stunning coastline, woodlands, and green spaces. These journeys create dynamic opportunities for experiential learning, emotional regulation, and connection with the wider environment.
